Tony, Olivier Award-winning star and recording artist Lea Salonga, after wrapping up a worldwide tour with Il Divo, is back for a one-night-only engagement on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 8:00 pm at Town Hall, 123 West 43rd Street in New York.
Ms Salonga continues to captivate audiences worldwide. Well known for her lead performances in the Broadway hits Miss Saigon and Les Miserables, the elegant Salonga is probably best known to the public as the voice of Disney’s animated heroines of Mulan and Aladdin. The New York Times writes, “Ms. Salonga’s bright, metallically edged voice is a shiny all-purpose instrument that confidently establishes its dominion over whatever musical setting surrounds it. As Broadway divas go, she is a cut above most.” While Backstage lauds, “Hers is probably one of the clearest and most expressive voices in cabaret and theater today.”
In her brand new show, audiences will enjoy an array of songs and genres from classic tunes to current hits to Broadway favorites interpreted with the Tony winning star’s trademark pure, crystal clear voice, moving delivery, and remarkable stage presence. Her repertoire will offer new musical theater compositions, new harmonies of songs and music arrangements forged from Lea’s expansive 35-year career, motherhood, and stories from her life ‘on the road’ performing in major cities across continents.
Tickets are $55, $60 & $65 are available by mail order to save Ticket fees. Click here for form.
